Very nice hotel, we have stayed here twice now. There is so much attention to detail in the decor around the hotel and courtyard, it’s so peaceful you forget you are in the city. Staff are very kind and helpful, especially helping with luggage. There are many nice extras like tea tasting and afternoon tea but the breakfast was real star of the show - we recommend trying the Yunnan special ‘crossing the bridge rice noodles’. We will stay here again next time we are in Kunming.

Our 2nd time staying here and again could not fault the staff or faculties. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the pedestrian street so there was some late night noise pollution but the room was clean and the bedding very comfortable. The location is great too. Close to the main shopping strip at Nanping mall and loads of food options nearby. Great place to stay when in Kunming.

Beautiful hotel with great cultural heritage. Love the interior and design. You can see people enjoying a game of chinese chess or ladies having their morning exercises outside hotel. Amazing cultural immersion. Service was equally great. They do your laundry and were accommodating with late checkout and luggage storage. Got departure gift from them too!

During my trip to Kunming, Yunnan, I stayed at Mengyuejing Hotel, and I truly have to give it a “beyond five-star” review!
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could already feel the relaxing and elegant atmosphere. The room was absolutely beautiful — not only aesthetically designed, but every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The facilities were complete, modern, and very comfortable, making the whole stay incredibly enjoyable and relaxing.
One of the biggest surprises was the breakfast. There were many choices, and everything tasted really delicious. You can genuinely feel the effort and care the hotel puts into every guest’s experience.
Whether it was the accommodation, environment, cleanliness, service, or the convenient location, everything exceeded my expectations.
Staying at such a wonderful hotel truly made my journey even more memorable. Thank you, Mengyuejing Hotel, for giving me such an amazing experience. I will definitely come back again the next time I visit Kunming.

Staying in this courtyard hotel was a highlight of my trip to China! Decorated with traditional art and sculpture and complete with a giant water bowl full of fish! I enjoyed the tea tasting ceremony and the famous Crossing-the-Bridge noodles here. Bed was comfortable, AC worked great and the non-smoking room I chose allowed for a pleasant stay. The staff were always looking for opportunities to make my stay even better, especially Wu Chinlin who used Google translate exceptionally well to communicate!

Booked the King room for 2 nights.
Had misunderstood that we will get a one way free transportation from train station or to airport, realised i did not read the details carefully. Staff was courteous in providing clarification and supported us well via we chat. They got my friend a birthday cake and prepared bfast for us to take along for our morning flight. Meals were great, portion abit too big though lol. Near restaurants and eateries, massage place, some shopping. Walking distance to Nanping pedestrain st, great location.

An absolute gem in Kunming! Exceptional service and unbeatable value.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The hotel is stunningly beautiful and the value you get for the price is unbeatable.
One of the biggest highlights was the breakfast. Not only was it delicious but I loved that we could choose our own dining time. They even change up the menu on different days which was a lovely surprise! The entire property is beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere.
A huge shoutout to Bao Helei, a male staff member who speaks excellent English. Communication was incredibly smooth and he was always there to help us with a big smile.
The hotel also offers a fantastic laundry service. It was super fast ,done within 3 to 4 hours and everything came back beautifully and neatly folded.
Location-wise, it couldn't be better. It’s right in the heart of all the attractions. At night, it’s incredibly convenient to just walk out to find minimarts and tons of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kunming. It made our trip unforgettable!
