Ranah Resort Anji, a collaborative effort by Peter Rich, laureate of the Lifetime Architecture Achievement Award in South Africa, and founder Jin Weiping, took twelve years to complete. Constructed with hundreds of thousands of tons of natural stone, the resort spans approximately 1,800 acres and stands as one of the few Chinese works selected for the Venice Biennale of Architecture. Its inclusion stems from its profound exploration of stone architecture and symbiosis with nature, aligning with the Biennale's artistic vision.
