酒店地理位置优越，周边是北京老胡同，钟鼓楼、国子监、孔庙、雍王宫、什刹海都很近，步行都可以，骑着摩拜自行车更是别样一番风味。房间干净整洁，离安定门内大街100多米，但十分安静，设施还行，不豪华，但绝对够用了。楼道里的摆设很有文化气息，将酒店提高了档次。值得一提的是，楼下吃的很多，有家川菜馆从上午11点就开始排队到晚上10点多，值得一试。
