Pour : Superbe h?tel Il est dans une rue où la circulation automobile est quasiment impossible. Les chambres dont extraordinaires Le personnel est très gentil Il y a un buggy de golf qui peut vous transporter à la Bab El Futuh, c’est à dire, à la route. Le petit déjeuner est hyper copieux On a d?né un soir sur la terrasse. On a pris le truc pour deux, on vous apporte un truc pour 4 au moins! Il y a un ascenseur. Contre : il faut marcher environ 10 mn dans le souk pour atteindre l’h?tel (sinon le buggy) L’h?tel est très bruyant, malgré le double vitrage, la musique dans la rue est à un fort volume jusqu’à 1 h du matin... On vous fournit des boules Quies pour dormir, mais je ne pense pas qu’on puisse venir avec un bébé. Peut être que le personnel pourrait éviter de faire le ménage et de ranger la vaisselle lorsqu’on prend le petit déjeuner à 8h15. Le prix des chambres est élevé.

Le Riad Hotel de Charme has, you guessed it, lotez if charm. The staff was very attentive, the room very well decorated and comfortable.
We liked the area but early/light sleepers be mindful, it is at its busiest/noisiest at night until ca. 2am while quiet afterwards until late morning so consider this. That said, we found it a perfect pied-à-terre for our short stay in Cairo.

Our stay at Le Riad was truly amazing. Breakfast is excellent and very generous — almost like a full lunch. We chose the Egyptian breakfast, but there is also the option of a more traditional continental breakfast or the “country” one, which is somewhere in between. The rooms are very spacious and each one is decorated differently, perfectly reflecting the style and character of the area. The terrace where breakfast and lunch are served is simply wonderful. The neighborhood itself is lively and enjoyable. Due to a delay with our flight, we arrived very late at night, but the shuttle dropped us off right in front of the entrance. Even though it was 3 a.m., the staff welcomed us with great kindness and big smiles. The entire team was extremely friendly and always willing to meet all our needs. Our only regret was staying for such a short time in this charming and beautiful hotel.

Le Riad Hotel de Charme has an interior exactly as shown in the photos, and the staff are well trained and very professional. It is a beautiful and well-maintained property.
However, the surrounding area was extremely noisy. Loud music was played on the street until around 2:00 a.m., and the sound echoed inside the room, making it feel like being inside a concert hall. For travelers who want a quiet night’s sleep, I cannot recommend this hotel.
Earplugs were provided, but they were very hard and did not fit well. They were too large, especially for women or children, and therefore not very effective.
It is a wonderful building, but unfortunately very noisy.
