The good: the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was quite good with a nice range of options for the size. The staff was very kind and did their best in sorting out whether or not we needed to get more Covid tests done and where we could go if we had needed them. The location was great for wandering the bar streets and close to a metro.
The bad: the walls are so thin we could hear everything all around us. Not much to be done about that at this point. The housekeepers were very friendly but walked into our room once! We had had an early day seeing the pandas and came back for an afternoon nap. The housekeeper knocked and then opened the door! We had a “do not disturb” on the door so this was surprising. Finally, I believe the lotion provided by the hotel had been used already as it was only about 1/3 full.
We did enjoy the stay but it was a bit complicated.
