酒店距大理火车站也就200米，酒店门前是云岭大道非常漂亮，沿着云岭大道向北步行10分钟就可到达洱海公园，从火车站乘三塔专线（2元）直达崇圣寺三塔景区（40分钟），去大理古城可以在火车站乘8路公交车直达，交通非常方便。出酒店左转有许多小饭馆，有一家“保山铜瓢牛肉”是开业不久的特色饭馆，是火锅，挺好吃的。
酒店房间面积大，设施还可以，卫生挺好的，值得一提的是前台的热情服务，我们的火车是下午3:30的，12:00退房候车时间有点长，我们抱着试试看的想法与前台一位男性服务员商量中午1点前退房可以吗，回答是回房等待电话答复，10分钟后来电话告诉我们请示领导同意了，我们很感动。中午1点前下楼退房，那位服务员说现在到火车站还有点早，你们就在大厅的沙发上休息一会儿这里凉快，他的建议使我们非常感动，真是为我们老同志所想呀！

非常糟糕的酒店！ 很旧，很旧！ 床单都是破的，肮脏的浴帘，破烂的老式塑料拖鞋，卫生太差了，出门在外，最怕的就是脏！ 早餐也很糊弄，居然这种酒店能是4星，说实话，能够上两星就已经很勉强了，唯一可取之处就是离火车站近，除此以外，没有任何理由在此下榻。艺龙卖这种酒店，真是杂自己的牌子。
