老木棉酒店的环境和位置在当地可说是一流的，可是酒店设施和服务就不是一流了，设施较陈旧，本来是很好的原实木酒店家具，可是没有翻新，亦没有做一些修饰的功夫，或者用心去增加一些现代元素，整体上给人感觉陈旧，新颖意念不足，我感觉其客人回住率应不高，酒店入住率也可能不会高，可惜了的好环境，好位置。酒店服务一般，没有特别的印象深刻之处。酒店是掩映在绿树林荫之中，环境很美，空气清新，鸟语花香，确实是有环境的享受。
