淡季酒店入住人员不多，干净，安静，服务较好，对得起价格。但酒店较旧，有些微发霉的味道，3月入住没有空调，只有通风，美中不足。晚餐时和早上天亮时能听到老虎的叫声，喜欢自然的朋友应该很开心此感受。酒店一楼有一家海南餐厅，文昌鸡和椰子饭每到必点，非常好吃，价格也适中。
