Amazing management, amazing hotel, amazing room, amazing service, amazing location, amazing staff. Liked · What did I like? Where do I start. From my arrival at the airport Jack had sent me a message about arranging transport, but I had already jumped in a taxi, but it was the fact he was checking my movements made me felt that he cared. The following day, he checked on me at breakfast (I'll come back to that) and was wanting to assist with tours and visits. I did book the city tour with him and it was amazing, by the time the tour cam round (Thursday), I had already walked most of the Old Quarter and surrounding areas (Tuesday and Wednesday), but I had missed some stuff and this covered off the check list. Breakfast was a FEAST, normally I would get a "continental" breakfast, but this was a full on Vietnamese breakfast and you could order either scrambled eggs, omlette's or anything at no extra charge. The staff were polite and keen to help. Jack again was amazing and keen to help with everything. I do recommend arranging airport transfers with him, as it was cheaper than jumping in a taxi. The room was perfect for what I needed, out during the day exploring, then a shower (maybe a nap), then out at night. On that note, the location of the Golden Sails is PERFECT. Right in the heart of the Old Quarter, "drinking alley" which I liked to called it was out of the hotel, turn right, right again and you're there. Go further a field down the streets and alley ways offer so much more. The Street Train is a mere 18 minutes walk away, I highly recommend you do that, best to go on a Sunday from 6pm. So overall, I can't recommend The Golden Sails enough, I plan to go back one day, go further afield with my tours, but I will book with Jack and his hotel again. Thank you Jack. Disliked · Nothing, well, the coffee cups could have been bigger but I'm from Australia/New Zealand and we like our coffee, but this is the Vietnamese way. The only "slight" issue I had was the is some construction to the right of the hotel and it goes from Monday to Saturday and disturbed me once or twice. But that will obviously be completed soon, and it's out of Jack's control.

酒店位置非常之好，位于36古城街中，36古城街为河内其中一个着名景点，由酒店步行至还剑湖，15分钟左右，如果不看古城区内的内街话。由酒店步行至火车街，20分钟以内，如果谷歌定位准确的话。
此外，这里离开酒吧街两个街口，喜欢夜生活的人，必定不会错过。
酒店房间宽敞，可能因为我们要的房型没有，所以给了我们一间家庭房。由于酒店只有10多个房间，所以早餐不像其他酒店的丰富，只是一两款热食，多士，水果及饮品，就连鸡蛋也没有提供，喜欢丰富自助早餐的，就要注意了。

Posizione e terrazzo: le immagini rendono l’idea più di tante parole: non so quante strutture turistiche possano offrire una vista così. Basterebbe questo per essere soddisfatti e invece la camera è spaziosa e curata in ogni dettaglio; arredamento nuovo, pulizia eccellente, cura di ogni dettaglio, massima disponibilità della titolare. Cosa aspettate? Non avete ancora prenotato?

Stayed here as part of a group of 3 with 2 rooms. Upon arrival we received a welcome drink and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly along with his staff. Offered to help us book the Ha Giang Loop which we had done already prior to arrival. 5* service and the rooms had English Plugs which was great too!

Mooi ruime kamer met Frans balkon, midden in de highlights van Hanoi alles op loopafstand. Maar wel in een rustig straatje. Goed uitgebreid ontbijt .op verzoek verschillende ei mogelijkheden.pancakes .etc . Volop mogelijkheden om een tour te boeken. Ook transport naar Dinh Minh .halong Bay etc

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked us a transfer for 5 people to the airport for just 300k. About a 20 minute walk to train street and local markets.

Do yourself a favour and do not book this hotel. Our stay in Feb 2023 was one for the books. Everything the manager of the hotel said she was going to do we for the most part had trouble with making any of it happen. She would promise things and never deliver. She would not answer the phone or reply to text. And, she would pass everything on her assistant Rosy who had no power to do anything about it. All we heard on many occasions is that they were sorry. Terrible customer service and very disappointing.
