酒店是老式的正规大宾馆，外表很有型，大堂也够宏伟。但进去后的感觉大打折扣，大堂里空空荡荡，除前台有一个人之外，大堂很冷清，没有门童，没有第二个服务员。手续倒还算快，但留言了：房间的水可能不热，晚上会好。到房间里，感觉不大，只能放下两张床，水一直没有热，无法洗澡。更难受的是：房间隔音极差，两间房之间就如隔一层木板。早餐不好，菜只有三个凉菜，服务员的服务就好像路边小店的，实在想不到这曾经是国营大酒店。
