酒店是4星级，山湖温泉旁，空调不错，热水充足，卫生间无味，有纯净水赠送。早餐充足，品种有不少，有面粉热档。有免费停车位。网络一般。床头没有供手机充电的插座。山湖温泉门没有早起红火，市价138元，网价118元，兔子价108元，本地人88元，持武汉旅游卡免费。这个时期泡温泉人少，更衣室照明像鬼火，洗浴间黑灯。服务水准严重缩水，服务员多半是退休老人，着装混乱。温泉内很多项目另收费，价位也涨了。给人感觉山湖温泉开始破落走下坡路。

整个度假区还是有一定规模的，酒店有几栋楼，我住的湖景楼，从前台通过回廊走过去，四周还有腊梅和四季桂飘香。预定的是酒店加温泉的套餐，房间很大，还有阳台，早餐的品种也很丰富 ，满意！温泉池没有汤池温泉多，也算可以了，该有的鱼疗池、按摩池、盐浴什么的也都有。唯一不满意的是房间卫生间下水很慢，洗着洗着就漫道脚面了，而且没有冲澡的拖鞋（同学们要自带）。
