The Xiguan Hotel (Xiguan Binguan) is located by the beautiful Songhua River, at No. 137, Song Jiang West Road, Jilin City, covering an area of 63,042 km. It is firstly built as the official residence of the then Jilin military governor, Mr. Zhang Zuoxiang. In 1949, it is named as Jilin Provincial Guest House for Senior Officials and used for receiving national leaders and senior foreign guests. In 1980, it is renamed as Jilin City Xiguan Hotel. As the only garden-style hotel in Jilin City, it is a pleasant resort in the summer with cool air and green trees, and a white fairyland dressed by the famous Jilin Fog Rime in the winter.In 2010, Jilin City Government starts an all-round reconstruction and renovation of the hotel to upscale it as a comprehensive modern hotel with such services as tourism, conference, dining, accommodation, fitness and leisure, featuring modern design, elegant decoration, complete facilities and unique layout. On April 1st, 2014, the hotel reopened in full scale. It now has 105 guest rooms, 178 beds, 14 conference and meeting rooms, 5 Chinese and Western restaurants, 2 cafeterias, 1 multi-functional banquet hall as well as such entertainment and fitness facilities as swimming pool, tennis hall, fitness room, chess and card room, hair salon, billiard room, table tennis room and tea bar. Inside the garden stands 7 buildings built in different years with different styles and functions.The first one is the Yellow Building in Chinese and Western styles combined, where Mr. Zhang Zuoxiang used to live, as the precedent of Xiguan Hotel. It is now a cultural relic protection unit of Jilin Province.The second one is the Building No.1 (the original Guibin Building), firstly constructed for Chairman Mao Zedong’s visit to Jilin City. During the past 50 years, this building has received many party and national leaders, foreign state heads and senior guests including the proletarian revolutionists of the old generation such as Mr. Deng Xiaoping, Mr. He Long, Mr. Lu Dingyi,
