大概是开封最好的酒店了吧。感受最深的就是服务好，各种宾至如归的感觉，当然这个酒店一个小措施——给服务员打赏活动（大概也是开了中国酒店小费之先河。服务员每人一个二维码，微信扫描后可选择6.66、18.88、28.88或自定义金额“打赏”）有关，各个岗位的服务员各种卖力。入住后下雪了，第二天去清理车上的雪，立即有服务员手拿鸡毛掸子（虽然工具不怎么给力）上前帮助，虽然需要“打赏”，但是感觉很好。
酒店在湖边，房间很大，最大的特点是室内高度超高，有三米以上，显得空间很开阔。有一个小阳台，安置了座椅和茶台，可惜冬天无福消受了。房间内设施还是比较齐全，就是略显陈旧，这也是设施扣分原因之一。
还有一点美中不足，浴缸水龙头出水极其不畅，大概一个小时才能灌满。

酒店太陈旧，说是湖景房看到的只是对面的楼房，住过的开元酒店最不能接受的，说实话还不如开元曼居。
