酒店位置优越，距古城四方街三百多米的狮子山半山之上，即往万古楼的半路上，酒店200来米即到文昌阁前的免费观景平台。酒店卧具很棒，讲究，但空调不给力，热水不给力。设置有些老化。二楼平台看古城看日出晒太阳不错，因朝东北面无法看日落。酒店服务人员，除老板本人主动热情外，前台等人员业务素质有待提高，不会主动问候客人，回答问题模棱两可，不专业，因为工作人员又无服务标志，令人无法确知谁客谁宾，早餐阿姨态度很好，但早餐环境不够整洁舒适。这些建议只是希望客栈改进提升，态度热情替代不了专业服务，虽为民宿客栈，会用很多自愿者，但培训一定要跟上，否则难有宾至如归的感觉！

在比较高的山上，出古城还要自费20块钱拉行李出来，要不然就自己拉行李，客栈的设施也不是很好，厕所玻璃碎了又给我们换了一间，但是热水也不够热，无线也很慢
