酒店在南岳山脚下，紧邻革命烈士广场，第一感觉不太吉利，呵呵，后来想想也没什么，现在基本就是大家锻炼身体的地方了。
酒店门前就是停车场，停车位很多，旁边就是一条直通南岳山的山路，顺着山路走约半小时，可以看到一个寺庙，然后爬半小时就是山顶。 个人认为，酒店的地理位置是他最大的优点。
大厅装修很普通，服务员一直没有笑容，。手续办理很快，三分钟不到就搞定了。上台阶有残疾人通道，就连电梯都有残疾人专门的按钮，这个设计很人性化，也很少见。
预订的是观景标间，房间很宽敞，在九楼，所以光线也好，可以看到远处的山还有楼下的广场。一进门左手边是独立的厕所， 右手边是洗脸池和洗澡的在一起 。基本设施配套齐全。可惜洗澡水忽冷忽热，好在是夏天，冬天可受不了。
整体装修也是中规中矩，没有很好或不好的地方，霍山特产黄芽，房间配的茶叶是今年的新茶。免费矿泉水两瓶。网络没有密码，信号特别好，值得表扬。
电梯里显示一楼有游泳池，打电话询问，没有建，网球场100一小时。
早上在宾馆用了早餐，房间含双早，单买30一个人，也不算贵，不过品种不多，吃饱就好。
