酒店位置对于上庐山还是比较方便的。整个酒店环境不错，适合休养。但是酒店内部设施稍显陈旧。早餐品种和质量也需要丰富和提高一些。

服务相当差的一个酒店。号称5星级装修，连普通3星的标准也达不到。而且服务极差。卫生间的毛巾、浴巾之类经常不换。浴室的喷淋头坏了，两天才换。最可气的是客房服务电话接通了不说话直接挂断，再打再挂。总台说我们住的别墅度假村和他们不是一家的，他们只负责通知。。。。

庐山是个很不错的地方，颐元别墅也是个不错的住宿地， 只不过价钱对于一般百姓家觉着有点贵，跟当地的宾馆相比也略贵一点，还有就是订时说含早餐'，吃饭时却说没有提前预订，结果自带干粮上山。
