地理位置优越，毗邻濠河，斜倚在床头便可一览濠河夜晚灯火迷离之景～马路对面是南通州标志建筑之一的电视塔，沿着人民中路往东可以走到钟楼广场，对面是八佰伴、文峰千家惠等大型商场。设施确实是陈旧了，椅子电视都感觉有年头了，胜在卫生和服务都还蛮不错。
