房间就是传统的那种宾馆标房，房间内部没有时下新建宾馆那样的摆放贵妃椅之类的宽裕空间。窗外的街景是中心老区，感觉有点脏乱差。
房间内部还算干净，包括毛巾之类的也还干净，空调很足，就是不能调节冷暖。浴缸比较滑，没有防滑垫，同行的母亲还因为湿滑，从浴缸内摔到了浴缸外的地面（还好貌似没有大的后果）。被子没有不少宾馆那样的厚实，配合着房间内充足的暖气，感觉正好。
作为波特曼酒店本身几乎没有什么自有的服务设施，唯一可取的是可以使用隔壁喜来登的健身设施和早餐服务。尤其是春节期间还营业的喜来登的中餐厅解决了节日吃饭难的问题。自助早餐品种也很丰富，该有的貌似都有（就是分布得有点乱）。
如果不考虑喜来登的设施因素，房价实在没有竞争力，性价比不高。
如果不考虑游泳的话，我觉得可能还是选择新城区那些新建宾馆应该感觉更好。
