酒店是九十年代政府接待宾馆的样子，设施老旧，但保养不错，例如卫生间淋浴下水顺畅不堵塞。服务品质还是不错的，布草及房间卫生特别干净，保持了国有企业的品质。只是灯光黯淡，墙纸土气，让人觉得像招待所。早餐简单，面条，米粉有特色，但没羊肉。宾馆门廊左右有面点及卤菜外卖窗口，便民，国企改制生存不易啊。酒店位置及佳，居公交站“邮电大楼”和“州医院”之间，笔山路小吃多。宾馆有宽大的停车场。
