房间有重新粉刷过，看起来明亮一些，但电视机太小了，房间设施过于陈旧，华侨大厦曾经是汕头的一张名片，不应该让它落寞了，希望酒店的领导和管理层应与时俱进，该更新的软件设施应更新，为旅汕的游客们提供一个更好的商旅歇脚环境。
该酒店的茶楼出品不错，服务也周到，建议入住该酒店的客人前往尝鲜，第一泡工夫茶是免费的哦。

介绍说有浴缸，没有。床头充电插孔，没有，全房间就两个地方能充电，都离床很远。房间赠送矿泉水，没有。早餐，就这房型没有，床又小，就这服务配套也敢要150的价…，唯一的优势可能就是位置吧。前台女服务员态度好，男的跟家里死了人一样死脸…
