The hotel looks exactly like the photos we found online, only better. We booked the Meili Suite at HKD4000 for two nights on the 25th and 26th December. It’s super comfy, quiet, even on Christmas days. It’s a bit windy when you stay in the balcony, but it definitely is worth the headache you might get from the chills :) And the huge stone-made bathtub! The same room in Hong Kong or Japan or anywhere in the world might cost HKD6000 up, but it is only HKD2000 per night at Christmas time. The screen is one of the highlights of our stay coz we basically spend half of the stay watching Hollywood movies, and for hotels don’t normally have that lovely screen! For some new movies, it cost HKD6 to watch, but that’s okay for anybody I suppose. Also, there’s a beach nearby. Even though the hotel is not right in front of the ocean, like other posts at Trip.com have mentioned, still, we really liked it, and enjoyed every part of the stay. (The ventilation in the toilet needs some repair though, it works perfectly fine, but, it makes some loud helicopter sounds when it gets turned on…)
