去景点方便，出宾馆门向左直走上台阶200多米就是售票处。自驾车不让进景区，车留在宾馆，次日住景区。准备慢慢玩，有体力的进景区要轻装，不必先订宾馆（十一等人多时例外）。景区极大，走到哪里现订即可。一般人上金顶必须坐索道，步行路远坡陡，爬山的中途就会后悔，但也只好硬着头皮继续，如果爬上去，也不会再有勇气走下山。几乎每位去武当山的都会坐索道，或上去花90，或下来花80。还有，门票240，保险5元懵懵懂懂被收了就不计较了。
