金马宾馆原来应该是内蒙古驻津办，招待所升级的，在天津站北广场，地铁北二7号出口上来走路300米左右，但酒店附近没什么商店和餐厅，只能在宾馆餐厅吃，蒙古风味，牛羊肉为主。厕所比较小，房间也不大，穿过天津站，可以去海河广场，距离世纪钟也不远，走路到意大利风情街20分钟。早餐一般般。
