位置很好找，就在就在汽车客运站入口对面，很醒目的招牌，在车上就已经看见了。吃东西的话附近很方便，早上一出来就有几家吃早饭的，在路边也有几家餐厅。房间干净，住地下偶尔有蚊子，点了蚊香开了空调就好了。离天门山索道步行10分钟左右，老板帮忙买了门票，便宜了30大元。
