办理入住手续快，提供行李搬运服务，房价够大，有冰箱、饮水机、烧水壶、免费瓶装水和有偿桶装水、饮品、零食，各取所需，值得一提的是两楼餐厅服务员服务周到、亲切，菜品色香味俱全，立马决定续住一天，作为长途旅行的休整。

距离火车站不到2公里，停车方便。出门就是西二环，距离加油站也近。向北走是平山湖大峡谷，向南是马蹄寺，加满油向西去是地质公园，向东是市区。张掖市区不大，堵车还是有点的，所以选择了在市区边缘的祁连山大酒店。出门向北第一个路口左转应该是新开发，全是各种大大小小的小吃店和饭店，吃货们可以饱口福了。张掖应该是以鼓楼为中心向西是西大街，向东是东大街，向北是北大街，然后两个环线，还是很规律的。酒店向北一两百米的路口就是西二环和西大街的路口，交通很方便。
