第一、简。在设计上一定要简洁，控制造价、控制投入、减少卫生和保洁的难度。
第二、减。把一些专属功能减少，通过多功能的方式进行代替。如：把常规的书桌，用书桌和茶几结合的多功能桌代替等。
第三、加。增加与用户体验有直接关系的内容或投入。如，要增加布草等与用户有直接亲肤方面的投入。
第四、多功能。整个酒店凡是能够多功能的就一定要多功能化。如：早餐与全日制餐厅的多功能、会议与宴会的多功能等等。
第五、流量。就是要在设计中一定要考虑可玩、可乐、可拍的装饰设计和服务设计。
