Suppose it was a family trip and I booked two rooms. I have requested the front desk to allocate two rooms next to each other, Unfortunately, the number was but the location was two rooms apart. For the facility. The door lock was damaged and you have to force it to close

Great location near to the central park and 20 minutes from the airport. I got an ocean view room, which was well worth it, and the bed was huge and comfortable. This hotel, when first built, was opulent, classy, and attractive. But now it is in a major need of renovations to cure everything from thread bare carpets to damaged walls and peeling timber. The welcome drink includes an afternoon tea type buffet. The quality of the food is terrible, stay clear of the pastries and coffee, but I stocked up on the fruits, which were delicious. This hotel does not live up to a 5 star rating however it does represent value for money. Next time Im in Dalian I will try another hotel first.

A very comfortable and enjoyable experience at Bayshore.The hotel was fully booked with families on holiday, and many enjoyed the Sea World Park and fun fair rides 150m from the hotel. My room was 1912, and overlooked the bay. The room was spotless but getting a bit dated. The shower door is not sealed, so it leaks, but everthing else was fine.Air con was working very well and kept the room very cool.
Breakfast had a vast menu, but for a foreigner, the choice was acceptable but limited.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience but expensive at ￡195 for a sea view double room for 2 nights staying on my own Weather was poor but did not detract from my stay..
Location excellent. Metro (2nd Hospital of Dalian Medical Uni) and Xinhai Square about 15 mins walk.

Bayshore hotel was an amazing stay we stayed in the family suite and it met our expectations. Everything was clean and spacious, the breakfast was okay, they did t have much of a western spread but it was up to standards just the food was always cold. The location was great it was really close to Xinghai park and xinghai square. The only issue we had was the elevator I know the concept of the twin elevator was innovative but during peak time you would wait a good 5 to 10 min for the elevator. However the stay was great and I would definitely consider staying at bayshore hotel again.

Overall the stay in the hotel was very enjoyable. The staff is responsive. The first room was not satisfactory (strange odour), the room was quickly changed. The new room was tidy. View from the window on the sea was very impressive. Nearby good food opportunities and coffee shops. Breakfast was reach and tasty.

Location is great. Staff was great. Cloudy (赵翠云) at breakfast buffet was very welcoming and helpful. Cons:
Nonsmoking rooms are still not a norm unfortunately, you have to request it and be aware that they could be in short supply. The AC doesn’t work and constantly blew hot air. The room was 30 Celsius when we arrived and temp just wasn’t coming down. Thank goodness the window can be opened.
