酒店从外观看相当气派，够五星；从内部配置看也够四星，客房每层楼道、房间都有地毯，房间、浴室等也足够宽敞。
但整个酒店管理服务可以说基本上不够专业、或者很不入流。其表现：一是前台人员见了来客不冷不热，全店人员见了宾客则如同路人，总体上感觉没有经过正规统一培训；二是进了房间，连接WLAN遇到难题，按提供的说明，根本找不到“南疆宾馆”，后来在服务人员指导下，才知道要连接的是“融旅饭店”（稍后在一次性拖鞋上看到“融旅饭店”字样）；同时电视也是叫了专门的工作人员才能收看；拿起床头电话根本没有声音；盥洗间的洗脸池没有挡水的；三是晚上想开空调，多次未果，发现空调主机上显示“尘满”……非常好的硬件，而且还处于很好的地理位置，距离海滨公园、霞山观海长廊，以及渔港公园都不远。如果酒店的管理服务能够得到改进和提高，相信经济效益一定会更加显著。
