周边靠护城河，早晚可以在河边散步运动赏夜景，离苏州站仅一城墙的距离，走路也才十来分钟到苏州站，出行特别方便，服务周到，房间设施齐全，入住特别舒心，出差，度假小住都很适合！

酒店是一个古香古色一样的楼房，我定的这间特价特别便宜，酒店就在苏州火车站附近，步行不到十分钟，隔着对面就能看到苏州火车站的牌子，交通便利，我在苏州住一夜选择去的夜游大运河，坐车回来也方便，屋里热水洗澡啥的也特别好，除了前台服务员不咋热情（反正我也没咋搭理她）别的都很好。下车再去苏州还会选择的。

提前一周订的房间，离火车站很近，步行约10多分钟（步行就行，没必要乘车），人民路向南走，的过“平门桥”后向右面（西面）一看就能看到“平门楼宾馆”的招牌，好找。
宾馆门外有个大停车场。
进宾馆前台办手续需收押金（现金）100元，找遍全身仅有10元，服务员还是给我们行了方便，非常感谢。
2楼房间，不大，家具、卫生间、墙都比较旧，有污渍，但床单很干净，床垫较硬，被子、枕头还是很软很舒服的。
“平门楼宾馆”，离火车站、拙政园、苏州博物馆、北寺塔等景点很近，价格也很便宜，所以性价比高，出行方便，是旅游者较好的选择。
