酒店所处位置景色很好，看海景、去沙滩玩海水都很好。去山威很方便，离西门就隔一条小马路，过去就到。洗手间水质需要改善。

入住两天，专门去海边玩的话，住在这里还是非常方便的，威海北站下车，十分钟打车就到。酒店就在沙滩上，位于国际海水浴场的东部，人相对较少，从小门出去直到海边。一楼大厅的落地窗就能看海特美。住的这个大床房，房间设施很好，不旧，很新。价格贵些，但住得舒服。楼层服务人员态度不错。再去还会再住。

在威海国际海水浴场的（东头）有冰箱，保险柜。但海景三人间的窗子太小，据说都是这样的规格。早餐一般吧，但临海餐厅超赞，个人感觉海水浴场的（东头和西头）最好人少景色好，如西头有大片礁石可抓螃蟹，东头酒店有自己的临海平台，但和金海湾的不通有门隔着，金海湾酒店有一个栈桥旁边全是小鱼，暑期房价贵没办法，而且作为山大的附属宾馆入住率超高，我们就只能住一晚。
