拉明頓蛋糕（LAMINGTON CAK）是著名澳洲糕点，相传是昆士兰州总督Baron Lamington的家佣，有一次不小心將蛋糕块掉入巧克力浆中，因时间紧迫，將错就错拿给总督，不嗜甜食的总督一吃就爱上這点心，还想出沾上椰丝的方法，免得沾得满手巧克力，后来将这种蛋糕命名为林明頓。在二十世紀初，沒有冰箱保存食物，蛋糕不能久放，很快会变得干硬，沾上巧克力糖浆，是將它加強吸引力，令'隔夜'蛋糕变得更好吃![呲牙][呲牙][呲牙]
