记不清第几次在万豪住了，虽然酒店设在景区外面，不如五台山核心区那些小旅馆的位置优越，但品质也绝对是那些小旅馆不能比的，实话实说，像万豪这种规模体量的酒店，核心区是提供不了相应的土地面积的，所以只有景区大门口才是最好的选择。我在五台山住过各种酒店，比较后发现，在五台山只有两类酒店，一类是万豪，一类是其他酒店。万豪的突出是有原因的，第一是设施上的突出，五台山如此多的酒店，有泳池的仅此一家，其他的如宽敞气派的公共区域和房间，健身房中西餐厅商店大堂吧就更不用说了，只有万豪有。第二是服务上的突出，如果你希望体验到的服务是国际标准水平，那也只有万豪，从刚一到达的行李员开始，到前台接待，客房餐厅服务人员，再到泳池服务人员，无论年龄性别，处处都能感受到酒店专业培训的力度，这与当地其他大部分酒店的粗放式服务是截然不同的，这里特地要感谢两位行李员Douglas&Tom，每次入住都能碰到他们，每次都是有求必应热情周到。这里也提点小建议：泳池男更衣室里，电吹风设置在更衣柜边上，没有镜子，头发吹干看不到造影，不知道这种安排是怎么考虑的，希望酒店做进一步优化。
