酒店在镇上，位置尚可，由于春节期间出行价位上有点高，早餐没有真的不便，其余还好。

宝陀饭店是普陀山拜佛旅游最方便的位置，去哪里都很方便，到渡船码头店家都有高档面包车接送。
整个岛上只有一种交通车（23坐面包车）穿梭于各景点之间，按人收费，上车五元，稍微远一点就是十元，好在需要乘车的景点不多。吃饭不太方便，几乎只有农家大排档和酒店里的餐厅两种，价格几乎相同，比其他地方贵很多。没有任何国内国际上的快餐店进入，这方面被垄断的非常好。
