华北饭店建于1953年房间设施比较陈旧房间较小，但床品比较干净370元一间标间比较实惠。该饭店位于西湖景区内，岳王庙就在隔壁，出饭店过马路对面就是西湖，到灵隐寺就在饭店旁的公交站乘7路公交直达，到杭州火车站及乘地铁站也便捷。西湖边上的‘楼外楼’离饭店也很近步行15分钟即可。总之出游用餐十分方便。

一般般吧！房子太旧，而且地势很高，不适合带小孩住，另外早上自助餐48元一个人，吃的东西很简单，橙汁好像兑水了，不纯，包子和油条硬邦邦的，好像放很久了，除了离西湖景区近一点点，真的好无优势可言。

酒店的位置很不错环境幽静，游西湖很方便几个主要景点就在附近天气好晚上也可以出去走走，周围有便利店、KFC、小吃等餐饮不是问题（吃当地特色美食还是辛苦跑城区找吧）。缺点是如果节假日出游坐车就比较麻烦了，从最近的地铁站坐公交或者晚上打车回酒店的那段路是最堵的，总体来说适合决定在杭州本地（西湖+灵隐+南宋御街）玩两三天的朋友。
