酒店位于北京怀柔雁栖湖畔，风景环境很棒，尤其是夏季和秋季，冬季感觉还是有些荒凉这也是北方的特色了。
酒店内部公共场所很宽敞，感觉空旷没有太多的商业气息，布置的一些供客人休息的设施也很单位首先视觉效果不错。
酒店配套设施餐厅也是蛮宽敞的，菜品就是色香好看，其他大众化了。包括早餐品类感觉很多，但是味道没有太多特色。
房间分湖景和城市景，主要是视觉感觉不同，房间大小好像根据位置也有略不同。卫生间很大宽敞，浴缸也很大喜欢泡澡的朋友不错的选择。卫浴品配的也是可以的。
酒店配的游泳池环境和水质也可以，水深1.5米的标准泳道，游着还很舒服，健身房的器材也基本都有了。有个小朋友的娱乐专区。
从酒店三层可以直接上雁栖湖大坝散步，赏景。但是要夏季来，冬季实在没啥看的。

酒店胜在位置，但其它并不出色，比如服务、餐饮。办入住很慢，进房间后有很大烟味，只能换房，换的房间位置又偏点。湖景房看湖很好，但玻璃被钢结构分成一块块的，视野被分割，不如一整块玻璃看得爽。早餐品种丰富，晚餐在中餐厅吃的，口味一般但价格很高。酒店三楼直接出去，可以到大厅坝。总之，性价比一般吧。
