  We dined outside on the terrace, which offered a fantastic view. However, the food did not live up to expectations considering the price point. The presentation could be greatly improved. For example, the zebu tartare was underwhelming both in appearance and taste. I have enjoyed better versions elsewhere. The lamb chop also lacked appeal due to its presentation. Ultimately, this restaurant is best for those seeking a great view, but other venues in Tana offer better value and food quality for similar prices.

  The hotel staff were great. Kind and friendly and most spoke English, so that was very helpful for me. The room was great. Only complaint was the shower doors were grinding on the floor when opening and closing, so it made a loud screetch everytime. My view from the room was spectacular. There are some bars and restaurants close by. I felt safe the whole time walking alone at night, but it is through some dark and dirty streets with the homeless around. But this might not be a good option for women traveling alone and wanting to walk everywhere. However, i felt really safe.
