28年的老酒店，设施设备存在老化问题，但难能可贵的是维修保养做的很好，窗明几静。不愧有“湖光山色第一楼”的美称。客房还保留着80年代老式的浴缸，不过加装了活动淋浴花洒方便使用。一楼早餐品种丰富，不出门在这里就可以品尝到当地的特色小吃。中午和晚上的自助餐以霞浦特色小海鲜为主，每桌还另外赠送一份海鲜姿造，非常不错。价位的话中午180元一位，晚餐258元一位。另外酒店的糕点做的很好吃。二楼主营中餐，闽菜做的别具特色，招牌菜栗茸香酥鸭，鸡汤氽海蚌，佛跳墙。但最值的称赞的还是客房的服务，不仅服务态度好，更做到了贴心和温馨。做房间时会根据你房内具体情况提供相对应个性化服务，比如看见你有洗衣，便会为你提供洗衣液，发现你有阅读书籍，会为你准备小书签，有带孩童的会为你送上专用儿童牙刷和拖鞋，及儿童读物。最后再手写一张留言条。感觉特别好。客房宽敞，清洁质量好。有来福州旅游的外地游客一定要来体验一下。酒店门口有个西湖公园，晨起锻炼可以沿着湖边栈道散步，天然的氧吧。湖景房，市景房各有不同的美景。
