很有历史感，算是上海外滩最早的酒店了，很多上海名流在此住过，如宋庆龄等，离外白渡桥很近，过桥走过苏州河就是外滩，夜色很美。
酒店服务生热情，有老上海的特点，本人十几年前住过，从一名即将高考的学生到带着妻儿故地重游票，感慨良多，唯有不变的是此情此景。
