酒店位于大同古城西侧，可步行前往古城。侧面有地面停车位，但门前面积小，不好停车。空调制热效果差，房间温度低，窗户缝隙漏风，只好用胶条封上。春节期间客房服务较差，赠送的果盘没有主动送到，经过询问后在晚9：30才送到。但前的王晓荣小姐服务周到，值得点赞??酒店内的自助火锅每位68元，周边就餐很方便，有许多餐馆。在古城里有一家当地比较有名的饭店凤临阁，排队很长，要提前一天在店内排队预约，价位很高，不太推荐。
