第一次来星际是几年前几个朋友到本岛晚餐后散步到星际坐大巴回银河，商议择机体验广告牌上的米其林二星餐厅风味居，本次家人对这家餐厅的环境和菜品味道也都评价很高，楼下的一家咖啡蛋糕店看来水准也不错，另有丹桂轩，比较喜欢银河集团在配套餐饮服务上的布局。
作为银河旗下酒店，星际可能由于比较老，也就比百老汇设施略强，比起银河、JW万豪的明亮整洁，比大仓的细致都有明显差距，更不用比利斯卡尔顿和悦容庄了，当然它占据了本岛的尚佳位置，去机场码头关闸银河的摆渡车，永利和MGM的大巴也很近。
酒店开始给的紧挨着的房间有一间气味不佳，借此换了不同景观的房型。
迷你吧所有的饮料及泡面都免费，正值老婆生日，酒店特意送来生日蛋糕和餐具餐盘等，也提供了小宝宝的加床，保持五星酒店的服务水准。
