位置很好，就在市区，正对面就是西湖，距离三坊七巷也很近。房间干净，服务很热情，吃的也不错。户外的小泳池儿子特别喜欢。

福州西湖大酒店今年2月刚装修完的豪华酒店，在福州西湖之畔，酒店有专用通道，早晚可沿西湖漫步，有露天泳池，风景独好，凝聚现代风格的经典设计，整体设计有独到的地方，大堂比较豪华，但客房走道和客房床背板都有甲醛味，有过敏的旅客关注一下，另大堂空调温度太低，服务员全是穿外套上班，旅客短袖就很凉了，房间洗发水和沐浴露有效期9月，8月份入住使用感觉很别扭。厕所未设外门，本意是想让客人感觉房间大，但是正对是个大镜子，刚好反射厕所内景，有没有考虑两人住或来客人的被旁观的窘态。靠窗户侧的床对面也设了面大镜子，实在不利睡眠和风水。退房时提及房间有味，服务人员态度很好，直言抱歉和说向经理汇报。
