古南都饭店在南京是属于非常有情怀意义的一个地标性建筑饭店！在我的印象里除了锦江饭店、北京饭店才有资格叫饭店，虽然饭店已经有二十多年的历史，但是她一点都没有给人暮气沉沉的感觉，这是非常不容易的一件事。我每次因为要在随园公干所以都选择住在这里，因为我在90年代的时候对她印象深刻一一因为她家对面五台山体育馆经常会举行演唱会、体育比赛！那个时候我有一个朋友在古南都上班，经常会给员工亲属价住在这里，我喜欢住在2202、2201它们面对随园、河海大学、清凉山、乌龙潭公园…楼层高、城景美！它的四周都是面对南京不同的街区城景：鼓楼、广州路、珠江路，新街口…它家下面就是先锋书店，这也是我喜欢住的原因！因为我经常入住，所以和他们家黄友强经理相熟了，所以入住的时候可以提前和他预定一下：他都会帮我安排好！现在已经升级为他家的会员，入住打个电话就可以！今次入住811城景房，办理入住的时候手机落在前台一一他们家小吴同学帮我把手机给保管好：中间有朋友打电话过来他也很有耐心地告知原委，我当时从酒店出来办事，所以不知道以为手机掉了！最后，是朋友告诉我才知道！
