老牌5星际酒店，酒店规模大，外观设计、酒店内部园景都非常有苏州当地园林文化特色；近邻盘门景区，住店客人可以凭房卡免费游览盘门景区；客房和卫生间宽敞，设施齐全；中餐厅菜肴质量很好，非常合苏、沪市民口味，特别是松鼠桂鱼；酒店的服务人员都很尽职、有礼。建议：检查一下浴室小花洒，水比较小。

酒店有点年数了，工作人员说：不止十几年了，但几年前刚重新装修过。但我个人觉得还是有所欠缺：房间太小，加上卫生间说有35平，1人住尚可，2人住绝对显拥挤；房间设施老旧了，看上去就是挺老的家具，且家具上污渍不少！酒店是园林酒店，环境不错，且订房还送盘门景区门票，但酒店比较受中老年人的喜欢，年轻人不太会喜欢。

赶在春节的尾巴上住在盘门边上体验了一次老苏州的五星级酒店。先说优点:
景区离盘门很近，风景很好，早餐虽然没有太大亮点但是该有的都有了，服务员态度也很好。
与此同时，缺点也很明显:
作为一个老牌五星级酒店，电视无法投屏马桶是旧式的都没有关系，关键是这个浴缸，地漏那里不下水，晚上回来准备泡澡，把浴缸涮了一遍发现不下水，给前台打电话打不通，只能自己去跑了一趟，前台也让人来看了，来的师傅拿马桶搋子一顿操作通了，也没等我再试一下就走了，我接着防放水，下水道仍然不通，前台又联系不上，只好放弃，白帮酒店刷了次浴缸。
